sheds from a monster
A friend of mine found a set Friday that he ruff scored at 192" gross typical (12 points). They have 23 total points. The other 11 points make up another 20 abnormal inches. So you know he is around 200" non typical.
I think that counts for 2 more! ha, ha Great find!

I found 5 more this morning. nice eight pair, small 4 point, small 3 point, very small 2 point my total for the year is 7

I picked up a matched set yesterday. Pretty nice set with 11 scorable points. This snow is going to slow things down a bit.:ballchain

My prediction
I haven't even thought about looking for shed antlers yet, however I believe this we will have a new combined record of sheds this year. This weather although miserable and hard on the deer is exactly what shed hunters love. The deer are in herds making shed hunting easy pickings. Last year we had our #16 shed found on February 12th. We already have 16 this year. Nice job guys.

I got out for a couple hours today and found these 4 sheds. It is tough out there right now. I walked within 5 yards of one and within 40 yards of the other 3 when I started and didn't see any of them until I was on my way back to my vehicle.
