    Hey guys-

I want to get into filming my hunts or hunts with friends. I read through the post but because its a few years old I figure the technology has changed some. What kind of equipment would you recomend to get started.

What kind of equipment do I need at home to edit film and post some short clips on the net?

    Thanks for the help

I know this was posted a month ago, but what are looking to do with the footage? How much are you wanting to spend on a camera and on a full setup? What type of media do you want to work with, tapes, cards, etc.?

Just basic needs or wants will be... a nice camera, nice tripod, nice camera arm, extra batteries for camera, plenty of tapes or cards, etc., a bag to carry everything in. There are tons of other things also but to get started those are some of the important things.
Just get out there and start laying down some footage! Good luck and have fun and it is very addivtive!

And if anyone does look to buy some video stuff a great place to order from is B&H Photovideo, bhphotovideo.com I have also order from Cambells also but most of the time B&H will be cheaper from what I have found. And also be careful of websites that have prices that sound too good to be true, they probably are.
