Default Archery contest rules....READ and KNOW them.

This is an archery only contest(recurve, longbow, crossbow, compound accepted). All blacktails, mulies and whitetails will be accepted!

-Teams will be assembled randomly out of a hat, based on the total amount interested. Final sign up date may extend longer than stated to help create even teams.
-Bucks will be scored based on P&Y's scoring system. Gross score only.
-You will be able to "upgrade" a buck entry if you happen to hunt multiple states or have multiple buck tags and happen to shoot something bigger than what you previously entered.
-You and the animal must be in the picture, but your bow does not have to be, although it is strongly encouraged. We will use the honor system, so do not cheat. If there are issues with this, we may have to revert back to requiring the bow in the photo.
--Any doe, elk, coyote, antelope, turkey, hog, goat, ram, sheep, bear, fox, exotics and African game shot will count as 50 points towards your team's total score. So if you don't happen to shoot a buck, you can still help your team!! There is still a max of two animals, but if no buck is entered, you can enter TWO of these animals, as long as they are different species (not two doe or two coyotes, etc). If a buck is entered, you can still enter one of these animals for an additional 50 points. I suggest that you enter your 2nd 50 pt animal as soon as you shoot it and if you do shoot a buck later, then the buck will take it's place.
-The archery contest will start when your state's archery season starts and will end when the very last archery season is completed(this could include special city hunts, etc...), so please take note of this.

-We understand that not everyone is an official scorer, so do your best. If there are concerns about a score, we will ask that you get it scored again and provide the measurements to me. Everyone should have read this, so don't be offended if you're asked for the measurements. If you can't provide the measurements, the animal will not be allowed in the contest until they provided.

**Those entering mule deer and blacktails can use these equations and please do post your mathematical results.**

    Columbia blacktail: score x 1.39 =
    Sitka blacktail: score x 1.67 =
    Mule deer: score x 0.86 =
