What is the story with the buck in your avatar? It looks like a "tiny" one. When/Where did you get that one? Score? Can we see a bigger pic? Thanks buddy.

2005 Got lucky. Litterally! I missed a 135" got down from the tree. And while I was in the vehicle watching the fields he came out right where I had missed the 135". The following afternoon I resighted in the muzzleloader and headed to where he came out the evening before. He came out way to far away and made it in a cornfield so I started sneaking down the edge of the field when some deer busted out of the field. A bunch of deer came out and stood about a 100 yards out, meanwhile he was the only one who decided to bolt out the end of the field and I took a running shot and missed. I waited for the coldest day to come 3 days later -13 degrees and then I threw the treestand up. He came down at about 15 yards about 20 min. later.

It was a farm in the middle of Buffalo County where I got permission by waiting untill the day after gun season and then asked to bring the farmer a couple loads of wood. I didn't know him at all before I asked and last year he wouldn't take a thing. This fall will be Public Land Only though so i won't be hunting there. He looks bigger than he scores. Got alot of character and mass. About 170 nothing final on the score. See I was Lucky. I'd rather be lucky than good...
