Nope...nothing yet. I was just seeing what everyone else has upgraded to.

Pro...just from a few places that I've researched, many have said there are much better tires out there than those mudlites.

    Yep, tried a few

    GBC Gators
    ITP blackwater
    ITP mudlite
    Outlaw MST
    2 sets of Maxxis bighorns

All were better than stock, but some were better than others for different reasons. The ITP's were both a little better than stock. The gators were good all around, but were a little heavy, wore down faster, and were short. The MST's were a little better all around, including the mud, but seemed lunky and stiff. The bighorns worked best for me all around. Super smooth, reasonable price, last longer than the wheeler, great handling. IMO, you can't go wrong with what maxxis has to offer.......bighorn, zilla, mudbugs.

    Roofer,

Do you know the diff between those original bighorns and the bighorn 2.0's?

I haven't seen the 2.0 in person, but here is what I know.

As you can see the tread is a little different, that is why the 2.0 is just a tad lighter weight.

The regular bighorn has white letters on the side.

The regular bighorn has been out for years now and very proven to be tough.

I haven't heard or read anything negative on either one.

Besides that, they are both 6 ply, both radial, and both pretty tough.

I think the regular bighorn is available in 27" also, where the 2.0 is not.

I have the ITP 589's on my Arctic Cat. Actually I had em on a Honda Rubicon as well. Great all around tire as far as I'm concerned and they ride surprisingly well.
