ATV trails in MN

Anyone know where the closest trails are south of the Twin Cities? I'm really itching to get out and ride, but have no idea where some trails are at.

Anyone get just get out and ride? After looking at the calendar, I think this summer is just about shot. But maybe we can setup a TMH ATV ride of sorts next summer. Just something to think about.

Go to the MN DNR website or call them to mail you a packet of the sponsered trail's (it come's with trail map's) I know there's several up north, I've went to a couple & they're fun trail's, supposedly the best trail system is like NW or W of Duluth (forget the town name)

A ATV trail ride get together would be cool.

There is a trail a few miles east of Chatfield on highway 30. I have never been on it but have been by it and seen lots of people using it.

Trails are open for more than just the summer.

If you get up to the St. Croix trails, you can take them into wisconsin and there are plenty of trails. Depending on your speed, just the St. Croix trails in MN may be enough for a few hours ride. If you want more like 50-100 miles, you need to go to Nemadji, Spider Lake, or RedDot/moosewalk/mooserun near Silver Bay.

I put on 50+ miles at St. Croix just a few weeks ago.

Hey Stump... If you ever wanna come visit me this fall up in Hinckley, there are over 200 miles of ATV/OHV trails all starting within 40 miles of me
