I can't shoot with a bow quiver on to save my life!

Count me in as an "off-er"...

Definitely off for me. Hang it on a hook as soon as I get in the tree.

    OFF. Always.

On! I doubt I would have been able to get two arrows in one of my bucks last year if I had to grope around to find the quiver and then rip an arrow out of it.

mine are on all the time. easy to carry and no need to find a branch to hang it on. faster access to a second arrow if i need one.

i shot with it off in stand and in a blind. If I am stalking of course on. I practice with it on and off. I have a bow holder arm on all my stands and hang the quiver on that half way back. This leaves it in close to be able to grab a second arrow. I also carry 4 arrows, 3 rages and 1 fixed 4 blade muzzy.

quiver on always! I have always had a bolt on quiver and when we make late season drives, I bring the back quiver. My blackmax only holds 5 arrow, but I may be getting the afterburner with a quiver that holds 6. I didn't know there was a shooting advantage to not having a quiver?

I hang mine up while in a tree. I know sometime it would be handy to have the arrows closer to hand for a second shot but the bow does not sit on my lap well with the quiver on. The bow also seems more combersome with the quiver on when I'm maneuvering for a shot. Chad

Quiver on for me probably wouldn't have taken one of my largest bucks if my quiver was off the bow. Needed a quick follow up shot after first shot missed its mark. Shoot without during off season/league then in Aug put quiver on and by late Aug have it loaded with arrows 3-4 w/broadheads and a judo.

My bow or any bow with a decent quiver on will be quieter.
    Arrows always right there.
The weight of the quiver helps me.

I always take my quiver off the bow when I'm hunting, and anytime I'm shooting my bow for that matter. In fact, if I didn't need something to carry my arrows, I wouldn't even have a quiver.

Also my bow is far quieter with out the quiver full of arrows on it, than it is with the quiver on. The arrows are so long and seem to buzz and vibrate for a few seconds after the shot. Makes alot of noise!!

    Default quiver on or off

Quiver off, I guess. I don't own one, not for putting on a bow. I use a hip quiver and a leg quiver. I usually set a arrow at the ready and set it so to keep movement of reaching from being seen. Having to reach up or out from the outline of my body or structure that hides my outline is my definite "no-no."

I agree with some of you. I always take the quiver off once I get into the tree.
