What does he Score?

Any antler is given 4 mass measurements. I have seen this shed in person. I did not score it, but it definitely is at least a 72+ incher, and I'd bet all of 74-75. The pics don't do it justice. I think its amazing that people claim to be able to score deer very closely off the hoof (trail cam pic) and still be off 10-25 inches. Not starting any sh** either, but it is interesting. Usually we overscore trail cam pics, but not this one. I dont know if he goes 170, but I'll bet my house that he's 164 or bigger. Nice buck.

I am not mad. I just stated that I can verify that it is infact as big as he is stating. I have seen this shed. The comment that I think is ruffling some feathers is how off "most" were on the guess. It was just an eye opener to me. I thought it was interesting how far off we can be from a couple decent pics.

I was thrown by the camera angle,based on trail camera hieght and angle I thought he looked in the low 150's for sure.He is almost a twin to the deer in the bottom right corner of my post,also a referance for me. But when I seen the lil boy holdin that shed that was a very good angle and it looked way bigger and did the deer alot more justice then the trail camera pic for sure..That deer is impressive

Making a big deal over a guess that is either way too high or way too low only does one thing, makes people veer away from threads such as this. Who wants to be ridiculed for a guess....a stab in the dark? It's only a guess, nothing more.

What are you guys a frickin cult over there?LOL? I simply asked how many mass measurements it was givin.. because I thought it was BIGGER then 74-75 inches.. Definelty not talking down or down grading the shed or the buck one bit..The trail cam pic originally posted was a bit decieving and didnt do the deer justice as you Pope and Young stated.So I made a GUESS on the score.Then Shooter posted an awesome picture of the lil man holding the shed which totally did the deer and the size of the shed justice and showed the true size of that pig..So i knew my GUESS was way off on the low end and even thought it may be bigger then 74-75 inches. So I asked and everything Blew up in my face.. Maybe I come off as a dick on the site and If so I apoligize,But Im always about having fun and joking around and it is hard to pick that up in words on a screen and for that I truly apoligize Pope for being the only reason you dont post on the site anymore,but believe you me I am the most easy going guy around and I think some on this site that know me can vouch for me on that.. Shooter that thing is a pig and a true giant and will surely be a Boone and Crockett buck next year,I wish you all of the best luck in the world on that deer next yr.I hope to god you lay him down he is awesome. And for your buddies that are mad that the shed based on two trail cam pics was GUESSED lower then they had wanted to see I apoligize. Stump, in an attempt to be a better person, please tell me where in my posts on this thread I was bashing anyone? I have read my posts 3 times and still am having a tough time seeing how I am making a big deal of our guesses. If this forum doesn't allow us to comment on what I have actually seen in person and help inform the other members of this impressive bone, then this site isn't for me anymore. I thought what I wrote was informative. I have made my share of poor guesses also. I was just trying to show how easy it is to misjudge a deer do to a trail cam picture.

This to me is kinda bs! Fran is the reason u rarely post on this site anymore? Fran is one of the more insiteful and knowledgeable doods on here. He was merely making a guess. U ask for a guess on the score and u got one. For the love of god who cares? What does any of this matter unless his blood is on ur tailgate and his antlers in ur hand? Fran i agree the pic of the deer compared to the pic of the shed is deceiving. Either way the deer is a pig that needs an arrow thru his lungs. This thread makes me need a beer.....
