    Their going quick here. Heading out tomorrow to check a few.

    We wont have open water here till the middle of april.

    Not yet, but I drive by one of the first lakes to open in my area every day on the way to school, so I'm looking for open water!!!

    If oxygen Is getting low and you have an Inlet, fish will open It up well before April If the oxygen level Is getting very low. I know of 10 different lakes around here where the Mn DNR opened them up to promiscuous fishing. I just got back from one of them now, speared 7 northerns. What sucks Is most of these lakes the fish have already died In. The Mn DNR should've been more on the ball with this knowing the shallower lakes would be freezing out this year due to early Ice and early snowfall on the Ice.
