I haven't been on the board in a long time, kinda how it goes for me in the winter anyway, but I thought I would mention that if you like ice fishing, there are plenty of good opportunities still in the northern parts of the state, especially for the hard fighting trout. This warmer weather can be very nice for day hikes off the beaten path and fishing outside. I was lucky enough to cross paths with this bruiser, my PB for landed fish through the hole. Many 3-5 pounders caught that weekend, but this was the only one to go over that mark. 19 lb. 8 oz 37inches. 88 feet of water suspended 30 feet off on a silver & orange do jigger tipped with a piece of tullibee belly.![]()
