That is disgusting...these people need to learn to show a lot more respect for the animal...

Idiots!!! We can all thank idiots like this for fueling the anti's fire. I hope he gets bit the next time he tries that stunt (by a Grizzly Bear).

I do have to admit the guy who pulled the trigger made a nice shot.

Apparently the coyote was wounded, would it be better to leave it in the den?

It is a perception thing, if you have only just hunted coyotes you may respect the game animal aspect of hunting the coyote. If you are a rancher who loses lambs on a regular basis you may view the coyote as vermin to be eliminated by any means. I know as a poultry and egg producer if I went to the poultry expo and told people I let a fox walk away unharmed I would be mocked and ridiculed.

I thought the video was pretty sad. Although I might not have felt that way when I was younger, it seems that most people end up with a deeper sense of respect and ethics as you get older. I know I certainly have. It was pretty shameful seeing that coyote clawing for it's life. There was no reason for it to be killed that way.

The title of the video is "Montana Coyote Hunting" I guess thats not the way I pictured it. Too bad that most of non-hunting public that comes across this video on youtube will picture it that way.

Um yeah my scenario is worse you are right there not the same thing..Especially when you spine shoot a deer and it lays there while you fumble around trying to get a knive out or sling sensless arrows into him in accuratly so he will bleed out the slow way... Bowhunterben you are right I didnt think of it that way my scenario is way better then a single close range kill shot to a yote that just got pulled out of its den...What was I thinkin

For your information I bow hunt at MINIMUM 75 days of the season both Iowa,Minnesota, and Wisconsin..And I am a very very avid yote hunter as well... Just think its totally stupid that you guys find killing a yote that way so bad, when we do it in worse ways then that everytime we step into the woods with our bow and shoot at a deer. Especially if that deer is spined or shoulder shot...Sorry you guys COMPLETELY missed the piont here....
