For photobucket videos or any video links for that matter, all that is needed is to click on the "URL" icon and post the direct link in the box. Photo icon is not needed.

Thanks, I'll try that. I couldnt remember what I did to get it to work previously. I kept trying it how i post images using the "insert image" tool.

It just may be that the software I'm running to convert video to play right here doesn't like photobucket right now. It has worked in the past.

Here's a YouTube video test using the insert link icon.

I noticed that the first video i posted a while back ends in .flv and the ones ive tried to post today end in .mp4. I did the same thing on photobuckets website. I dont know what changed.

With some type of video editing software, can you save them to photobucket as a .flv file? The website's software may not know how to convert a .mp4 file type. download.com generally has a descent selection of freeware software to download. You just may have to read through the various options to see what may fit what you need.

I tried converting it to .flv before i uploaded it to photobucket, but after it was uploaded it was the .mp4 format. Not sure what I can do to change that though

If you don't mind, email me a video(if it's not too big, I guess we'll see) and I'll mess around with it a bit.
