The river is totally messed up where we fish this year. There has been no current, so stuff has been able to settle out for the most part, thus the water is clearer than it has ever been and there are more weeds than there have ever been. Normally at this point we would be able to go out and get our limit of walleyes no matter how many people are in the boat. This year we haven't even come close to that. We still catch enough, but it is certainly terrible compared to normal where I fish. We have pretty much quit fishing walleyes for the year because of this.
Most of our lakes around where I live are fairly low which is killing our normal walleye spots. We are stuck trying to find new structure that will hold fish, and it's not going to well so far this season.

Ive had an awesome year so far. Ive caught my biggest walleye and had two days where me and a buddy caught 24 one day and 36 the next. And ive had luck almost everytime ive been out. I posted some of my pics on two other threads on here. I have been blessed this year for sure.
