Most times the broken tine falls off when the velvet is shed.

    Post good year so far

I just put my cameras back out today after work after seeing this first buck how much he's grown in two weeks, he's grown 2 inches onto each tine and sprouted some G4's, the second buck I haven't seen in a few weeks but i know he's still around, the third i haven't seen him on the hoof yet ENJOY

    Default Some more

This buck has a cool little kicker off his base and the second is just a buck i've been seeing feeding with doe's only in the field and doesn't seem to associate with anyother bucks he has a messed up back leg (i haven't noticed any non-typical growth on his rack.

My gun buck this year had a very simular growth, when we caped him out we inspected it. My taxidermist said he see's this about every year, its an infection from mounting does, when the buck goes up to mount the doe thats the first part of his chest to touch her back and it sometimes causes an infection.

Hard to tell for me, but that one in the field looks like a dandy for sure Drenalin. Cool pic

Here is one that showed up for me this weekend. Not a monster, but a pretty deer, and he liked having his picture taken. I've got enough shots of this guy to recognize him this fall!

Default July 2010 Becker, MN deer

Here are some deer from my back yard. Tons of racoons also, but I'm going to start thinning them out. The two on the ends might be the same deer. I put these up pretty fast. I do have another 8 who is pretty nice also. Then 2 small 8's and some small 6's and less. The middle one is hard to see, but his right main beam splits and he has 4-6 spikes sticking out at the bottom of his brow times.
The one on the left was walking 20 yards from my sliding glass doors of my bedroom at 3:30am this morning. I watched him for half an hour. I had the back light on, and could see him fairly well. He looked just huge in the little light their was. He looked even higher then he did here.

    Default Elk River buck

This buck is at my property in Elk River. Starting to look good at some of my hunting spots. 11 points for sure with a sticker off his left main beam just above his brow tine.
