7 in one day is my best. Few sheds in the 70"+ range, but never found an 80 incher

I found a 1/2 rack that was only a 4 on a U of M research property. The base of the antler is almost 3" I would have loved to find the other half, or found the deer that shed the antlers. I promise to post the pic one of these days.

I'd really have liked to see what this one would have been like before the squirrels got to it.

Here is my biggest one so far. My dad has found some bigger ones but this is my best.
I actually walked past it and just saw something out of the corner of my eye that might have been an antler and went back and picked it up. I looked pretty hard for the other side but no luck.

You've found more whitetail sheds In one day then I've found my whole life. My hunting area sucks for finding sheds. The bucks seem to leave come January and venture over to the neighbors. This winter I really layed the miles on looking for sheds on public land but didn't have any luck. This next winter I'll be doing the same. I'm bound to get lucky one of these times!! My biggest whitetail shed Is probably a whopping 30 Inches. I've found a few moose sheds also. Out west In Montana elk hunting I've found 7 to 8 elk sheds and dead heads. I did find a matched set of elk sheds 2 feet apart from each other. That was pretty cool!! With an average Inside spread these sheds would score In that 200 to 220 Inch range (5x5).

I don't have a lot of luck finding sheds either. The squirrels find them before I normally get to them.

The most sheds I ever found in one day is nine and I did that twice. Once in Iowa and once in Illinois. My four biggest sheds are all pretty close in size 78-82".
Here is my biggest typical. 81 7/8"

    Here is my biggest non-typical. 79 4/8"

Both of these were found in Wisconsin. My six biggest sheds add up to about 470 total inches of antler.
