I figured I would share this story with you fellow TMH'ers..Stick with me this is actually really funny if its not happening to you! So..A few weeks ago I was terrorized by a skunk living under the garden shed in my yard.She would come out everynight just before dark and take over my yard.She tested my dodge and weave skills many nights coming home from the bars and also from work.I didnt want to shoot her because of the fact I really really didnt want her to spray In my yard seing as its already humid and sticky enough out why make it worse by adding skunk smell..I didnt want to live trap=see reason number 1.So i decided to use piosen.Anyway about a week ago there she was **** up in the fresh cut hay feild about 20 yards from the garden shed.Done deal right? Wrong..Last night I went out for a smoke just before bed and as im heading to the door the motion light kicked no big deal there is eleventy hundred cats runnin around the place that I have been slowly ''eliminating''.I light my smoke look over the side of the deck and there is a kittin on the ground crawling around in the grass. My immediate thought was that the female cat may have gotten into the poisen so I grabbed the flashlight to get a better look..WRONG A baby frickin skunk.Not just one of them but 8 of the basterds runnin around and under my deck.I wanted to shoot them right away of course but it was a lil to late and didnt want to scare the cattle so I decided I would get them today.I got up for work went outside for my morning smoke.BAM 3 feet from my front door and 1 foot away from the edge of my deck is my basement window well plump full of 8 pissed off baby skunks.One fell in and they all followed gettin in but not being able to get out..They are about a week old and just learning how to spray so its cool to them and they are doing it for fun..alot.. and right next to my front door... Karma!! I put a 1x6 in the well fo rthem to use to crawl out about a half hr ago and hung a tree stand on my deck and am ready and waiting with the 12 loaded with triple BB steel shot. Im not screwing around anymore.

Sucks man, and good luck with your plan!! Hopefully they figure out to climb the board..I dont know how else to get them out of there..

What did you use for poison the first time? (also I have a friend that used to trap them with a conibear trap..kills them instantly and they dont spray).

My young golden got zapped full bore in the face from about 5 feet a couple weeks ago...So this is all very much on my brain lately.
