    Thumbs up ditto..

Move the gun season later in November or first part of December. Become more proactive at seeking out and prosecuting trespassing "small game hunters". You have to be in the woods, and checking camps right around midnight to see what is really going on in your deer woods.

    Wink PS. Stump

Funny you would start this thread with Stump Licker as your icon!!! Cuz that is one thing I would like to see a crackdown on... C'mere Deer, Stump Licker, Buck Jam, DeerCane,.. etc.

BTW.. I do see the humor in your icon, , but all that stuff ended the day you got married.

I agree, move gun season back 2 weeks. Also I would like to see the DNR charge less for antlerless tags. Maybe hunters would shoot more does if the tags were say $5.00 instead of $15.

Well....lots and lots of ideas here, less'n the amount of doe tags. Im getting a bargain at my first for $27 and my others for $12 after I seen the $15 price tag......

This will tick some of you off......limit the number of out of state tags to less then it is now. Dont let out of staters cheat the system like many of them who own ground do. Make it a year residency to get a residence tag instead of 90 days. But all of this deals with all might Mr. Benjamin and we still dont have enough money to pay our DNR officers.

On a side note, people are always going to bait whether legal or not.
Aw yes...its almost that time of year!!

Maybe in Minnesota you have alot does we use to have alot of does where I hunt in Wisconsin but after the DNR started selling doe tags for 2 dollars a pop + earn a buck there just not there. If you want the DNR to try to get other hunters to shoot more does it has it draw backs.
If I could change 1 thing the DNR does in my state is stop the 4 day T-Zone hunting in both Oct. and Dec.
I would rather be lucky then good

If I could change one thing the MN DNR does, it'd be for the "higher-ups" to listen to their local guys, especially in the southeast, but all over the state as well. I hear grumblings from all of the local DNR enforcement, as well as the wildlife managers (or whatever their titles are these days), and they all say they wish their bosses would actually listen to them, and let them do their job.

I would like to see WI go to antler restrictions, thus allowing more younger bucks to make it. Also with antler restrictions people couldn't just shoot at any thing brown and they would have to make sure of what they are shooting at.

Allow me to pack heat when im bow hunting. I can wear my gun everywhere but hunting.

I would make it so the voters would elect the top positions to the DNR instead of being appointed. Right now the Governor appoints the Commissioner [top of DNR] which immediately turns the DNR into a political arena.
