Thread: Coyote?

  1. #1

    Default Coyote?

Yote or wolf? Seems like an awful long face and long legs.

I see what you are saying. However, to me the first picture looks alot like a coyote, so thats what I'm going to go with. The last two pictures for sure raise question, but at first glance I think coyote.

    Default Wolf

The pictures verify what we've been hearing. I believe we have a juvenile wolf probably a male sent out to find it's own way. Good country. Tom

I would have to agree with Loony101 "Shoot first, questions later" LOL!!!!
Me and the boys are going to do another trip in a couple of weeks on some private land for a change scouted from Acreage for sale recommended by a mutual friend. Hopefully we'll have some luck then and be able to post some good pics.

I am betting on Wolf. The hair and body looks like it is young. That's way too big to be a young yote. Maybe we should do a TMH hunt and find out...

That looks like a coyote to me. Wolves have broader shoulders which are usually higher than the back line.
