    Default Couple good ones.

I have had a chance to be in a handful of outfitter camps this fall for work videoing. I have really enjoyed all of them and all the hunting that goes with them. And all of them I would say go hunt with but a couple I really enjoyed.

One was a whiteail hunt in Southeast Kansas with 180 Outdoors. They have some awesome deer(I videoed a 170ish buck twice) and really know the land and what the deer are doing. Also it felt just like home and hanging out at the lodge with everyone. Devin and Matt are great people and put you in the best possible place for you to get a shot and are willing to work with any needs you might have. Joe is the waterfowl guy there and really knows is stuff also. Like I said it is just like hanging out with friends and meeting their families too they are the same. Great home style cooking for supper or you can run into town near by. For sure a place I would really look into KS hunting!

I just got back from New Mexico last night from a spot and stalk mule deer archery hunt at a place called Beaverhead. That was a great hunt also. They have tons of mule deer and the rut is in full go during the archery season and you will get some shots. Great guides that are willing to work with you needs and some great cooking when in camp. Just make sure you try and get ready for this hunt because it can kick your butt. And probably still will a little anyways. This is a place I would like to hunt myself.

If anyone may have any questions on either of these Outfitters or any others just ask. Like I said I have been to a handful of them this past fall and may know a little about some other ones. So feel free to ask.

Just out of curiosity what is a guy going to pay to do one of these hunts?

They are out of my price range at least for now I know for sure.

The KS hunts are between $1,950 and $3,050. $3,050 for muzzleloader and rifle hunts, $2,650 for early bow hunts, $2,850 for rut archery hunts, and $1,950 for late archery hunts.

The NM hunts are around $3,500 I think (don't know exactly). Also they have elk hunts for around the same price i think. You would need to check with them for sure.

I don't think either one of the sets of prices includes tags and licenses.
