    Default Go Pack Go

Being that the vikings won in Philly can't see how the Packers can't do the same.

See viking fans how a QB should play in the playoffs? As a Packer fan it is nice not to have to worry about the QB throwing another bone headed INT.

I'm not actually a Packers fan, Chiefs fan, but I have always liked the Packers. And now with who is left I hope they win it all!

I really want Aaron to win a SB, that would really close the book on #4 in Green Bay. Go Pack Go

just a question but why is everybody so worried about closing the door on one of the best players ever to play the game?

Unless you are a Packer fan you might not understand. I was in Green Bay in 08 working at a football camp hosted by several Packers players when the news came out Brett wanted to return. They were not excited about the possibility that he would return to the team, there are really several reasons and long explainations as to why his return was not welcomed. Lets just say the perceptions of the good old country boy that plays just because he loves the game are not what you see when you actually play and deal with Brett in real life. For me as soon he said he wanted to be a viking it was over, I know the players do not view the game as we fans do, but still when Brett said he wanted to stick it to the Packers he wanted to stick it to me a Packer share holder. Brett has the Int record and the streak thats it, his career pass % is around 60% not impressive, his bone headed picks in big play off games is another reason why he is not viewed as being so great. Brett isn't even the best QB the Packers have had much less the rest of the NFL.

I did not say he was the best qb just one of the best players, I am not a Packer fan, but I am a fan of the game and say he is one of the best I have seen play it, and I dont understand how packer fans are so quick to throw this guy to the curb when he reserected a football team and franchise that was in the toilet in the late 80s and early 90s, every body is quick to point out the bad, but nobody wants to talk about the superbowls and all the wins, just dont understand

It was just one Super Bowl, and many other blown oppertunities. Plus there are 53 people on an NFL roster, when one of those players thinks he is more important than the other 52 it tends to rub people the wrong way. When that person is held accountable and told he will adhere to the same rules as the other 52 and then retires or quits and then tries to force his way back and uses the media to play his side it bugs people, it shows just how self centered and self important he is.

I'm a lifelong Packers fan and never once considered any ill feelings or hatred towards Mr. Favre. The NFL is a business and a cutthroat one at that....let's not forget that. Who am I to say that he should sit on his couch and not play the GAME of football for $10 million a year??? Are you kidding me? Anyways.

Soon to be 13 time world champions, I really hope Aaron is the SB MVP. It must really suck to be a viking fan.

I really expected the Pack to finish the Bears off in a much more impressive fashion. Especially with a musty backup QB.

if he plays like he did today he won't and they will probably loose the game, he got lucky that his defense picked him up today, looked kinda like old number 4 throwing those ints dont ya think

Took the words right out of my mouth Swens. I will always admire what #4 did for the Packers and for the NFL. Rodgers' could have played better, but a win is a win-and a win against the Bears at soilder field for the NFC championship is priceless. I give it up to the D who played great minus a 1 or 2 drives in the second half. MVP for the game is Masthay for a superb day of kicking the ball around. GO PACK GO!

Thats how good teams win big games. They find a way to win the game whether the offense or the defense or the special teams are the work horse. Did Rodgers really play that bad? I didn't think so. Maybe his QB rating wasn't 100+, but there were a few dropped passes and one of those int's was pure dumb luck. ...he had nearly 250 yards passing and his 39 rushing yards certainly helped too

I will always admire and respect Brett Favre, but I could've done without all the drama these past few years.

Superbowl here we come!!!!!!! Go pack go!!!!!!!

I am very happy for the team but I am happiest for Ted Thompson, the guy has taken a ton of heat but never failed to act with class.

Nope no hair cut for AJ or Clay. AJ Hawk's flowing mane has a reason it's a tribute.
