    Default Some recent work......

With this big ole nasty blizzard bearing down on us I figure it would be a good time for some happy thoughts of Spring turkey hunting and some callers. Here are a few I have sent out recently.

    Some strikers

    1/4 sawn Hackberry slate

Couple different color laminates in ceramic and slate

    Curly ambrosia maple ceramic

And a quick picture of some callers that will be in the Grand Nationals in Nashville in a couple weeks

    I appreciate the look!

    Ghostmaker,

For the time being, I'm going to make this thread a sticky. Obviously you are making some calls that I'm not sure I would even take in the woods with me. Incredible work.

If you have a price list for what you are doing, feel free to post it for those who might be interested in ordering.

Good looking calls there! I think I read on another thread that they sound as good as they look. I may be interested.

Ed is a top notch guy to deal with! Good turn-around time considering the time involved in these things, and the number of them he has to do. He also refuses to sell you a call if you are unhappy with how it sounds..When my call was done, he called me and played it over the phone before letting me send him a check..

My call should be here tomorrow, and I will then be able to personally vouch for the way these things sound in person!

Get your order in soon, as turkey season is just around the corner!

    I appreciate the comments all!

    Here are my prices:
Domestic wood pot in slate glass and aluminum $40 plus $5 shipping.
Exotic woods and laminates add $5
Copper adds $6 and ceramic adds $4
Slate and glass calls are 3"or 3.5" surfaces, copper and aluminum only comes in 3".

    Domestics in stock,
Hickory, Osage, Maple (spalted, curly, ambrosia), Spalted elm, persimmon, walnut and hackberry.

    Exotics in stock,
    Zebrawood(3" calls only), canarywood, leopardwood

I also have small quantities of other exotics and odd domestics

I appreciate it and Thanks again Stump for letting me put this up.

Did you have any of these entered into the Midwest Call-Making Competition up in Baraboo last month?

I thought I recognized the work! Excellent job

I was judging the decorative calls. They needed an expert with a good eye....They got me instead
