Default Some of my old, but fav sheds.

I know my boys and I HOPE to find something of decent sized this season but we still haven't ran into anything honestly impressive..... yet ?!?

Anyway, here are some of my favs that I just dug up some pix of from a few years ago.

Here's a set from a beast that we tried to catch up to for 6 or 7 years!!! Truly one of THE largest main framed 8 pointers I've EVER seen in my life!

Here's another old pic of a monster that haunted my dreams for a couple years! I had this Buck at 31 yards one November morning and he somehow managed to turn around and slip down the draw never to be seen again. The "smaller" side is pictured and tapes right under 100"

    WOW!

    Absolute giants! Thanks for sharing...

Assuming you didn't kill them, what happened to those bucks?

Nope, they were never killed by a hunter.

The "Big 8" was found dead on a neighbors property in December... he was 9 1/2 year old and had only been seen TWICE by any of us during daylight! The Buck had actually grown a droptine and an additional small non-typ point on his right side that final year of his life.

The massive droptine beast was NEVER seen again. However, his droptine genetics have been carried on as we have seen a few on the hoof and collected a few droptine sheds from this area over the last several years.

It's a shame that the pix still don't do the antlers justice! The G2 on the "Big 8" is honestly 16 1/8" tall !!!

A guy never counts on having a monster like that step out in front of him but atleast it fuels the fire to get your butt out of bed in the morning! LOL!
