Default 90 wins is not enough

Hope spring eternal I can't wait for the Twins season to start, I am excited about the new players and the injured ones coming back. I will be very angry if the season ends with a sweep from the Yankees, the boys had better put on their big boy underpants on and play some decent play off baseball.

Should be a good year. Cant wait to see Thome hit #600. I think Morneau needs to step up and put his concussion behind him. I heard that hes still not 100% yet from last years knee to the head. If we can get him to hit like he was before he got hurt last year our lineup should be pretty tough to beat.

Well, so far no offense and the Twinkies are 0-2. The Blue Jays are allot like the Yankee's (power hitting team). Twins pitchers generally suffer with this as they don't walk many batters which means their throwing strikes which can mean power hitting teams will have their chances.

I'm not sure how the Twins will do this year. They've had a long run and have been right there In winning the division or coming close to It damn near every year the last 7 to 8 years. If they do Indeed make It to the playoffs again I don't think they can get by any power hitting team as for the reasons I listed. I sure hope I'm wrong though, I'm a huge Twins fan!!

Good luck Twins and just beat the White Sox. I hate the team and that nutjob manager Ozzy. I still don't get how a pitcher can play in the field but not have to bat? Just does'nt seen right. You guys are lucky to have big Jim, the guy is a monster with the bat and a big time hunter........Oh Yea GO CUBS!

I know it's early in the season but the Twins are starting to look like a Minnesota sports team.

They look terrible. Actually their offense has picked up some finally but their pitching (bullpen) still stinks. Lots of Injuries have killed the Twins this year. I think not signing Matt Gurear (sp) was a big mistake as well.

Im not a big fan of how they have been blowing leads lately though

Glad to see they are winning them in the end, but they could make it a little less dramatic!
