I also read new research out of S.C. that when using a trapper fawn recruitment was around 60% v.s. about a 30% rate when using traditional hunting methods for cyote control.

I just got into trapping for the first time this year. I'm hoping that between hunting and trapping coyotes I can get the deer numbers to go back up in a few of my areas.
