Then join the Southeast Minnesota QDMA Branch for our first Food Plot Field Day!
Come learn from expert food plotters and share ideas with fellow whitetail managers, where we’ll discuss everything needed to grow killer food plots in bluff country! Our classroom will be in the field, where you can actually see what’s being discussed and get your hands dirty if you want to!
We’ll cover site selection, ground preparation, finding the best plants, and maintaining plots so they’ll last for years to come. We’re limiting attendance to 50 people, so that we can offer a high-quality experience. We want everyone there to be able to ask questions and share knowledge!

Thought I'd revive this thread and see if anyone is going. I believe it's been posted on MDHA's facebook page, maybe the website, and an email went out to all Bluff Country Chapter members about it. I hope it fills up, it looks like it'll be a great educational event

We are looking into it again. Thought of tweaking it a little this year to include timber management and using the chainsaw to create bedding areas, etc.

Would there be interest in that, or should we stick to the food plot stuff?

I want to try and come down this year. I think adding timber management is a great idea. I have tried this in the past but really dont know what I am doing. Especially creating bedding areas in the timber. I know the basics but it would be great to learn from an expert.
