QDM vs. Trophy Hunting

I keep hearing people mistake QDM for trophy hunting... it's getting old. Is it really that hard to understand?

I use QDM except the shooting does, so I can shoot a trophy buck.

Ok in my beleif no one fallows QDM to the T.
This is as close as i get.
Plant food plots, have salt for the deer all spring and summer.
Shoot 1-2 does a person if tags allow.
Only shot mature/ 4 on one side deer unless its a cull deer.
