Has anyone been out in the woods, I made it out this morning and only saw one young buck, going out in the morning hoping for a nice doe or one of the bucks on the hit list, we will see this wind is not all that fun

Yesterday afternoon I went to a stand I had not sat in yet this year. I checked the camera and this guy was on it the day before. I was pumped for action. When I climbed into the stand and set my pack on the hook I noticed that I forgot my video camera, I went back to the truck but it was not there.
I decided to not hunt since I want hunts on camera now. I was very wndy and also there is a lot of season left. I just hope to see him next time I hunt there.Time.jpg

Well, I am seeing some more buck movement so I hope with the weather I will see something while on stan

Got out this evening seen ton of deer no horns tho! we did double up tonite tho slimmer shot a good 8pt and shamrocker shot a dandy 11pt w/ split brows on both sides, on the same farm ive been hunting. the buck are definatly on the move seeing a bunch of new ones on camera scrapes all over the place hopefuly i can get some horns on the ground to rack up some points for team 4!

Saw 12 deer Sat morning and only one was a small buck. He was chasing a doe around. Sat evening didn't see a thing. Sun morning just saw a coyote but couldn't get a shot on it.

Haven't been able to make it out as much as i would like. sat monday night saw 8 does but none came in close enough. I will be sitting this weekend and have 5 days off of work soon.

Sat last night, had a 12inch 8 come through at last light nose to the ground. I will be in the stand atleast the next two evenings for this weekend looking for a good buck, sounds like lots of guys having success already hopefully some will come our way! good luck guys.

made it out yesterday morning and evening, shot a doe yesterday morning

made it out Friday night and Sunday. saw a what i think was a good one chase off a fork horn but was out of range and getting late. didn't see much sunday

sat all day friday. after an hour in stand drew back on a big 18 plus wide 8pt that got to live another day by stoping in the only thick brush between me and him before turning around and leaving! didnt see another deer until 1:00 another good shooter that payed no attention to the grunts or doe estress calls i threw at him, the final deer of the day was a small doe fawn. went again sat morning into a different stand had 2 small doe fawns come through and one nubby! hoping to get out sunday evening! if not, next weekend i will try to shoot for a doe if the buck action isnt happening to help score some points!

Hunted all weekend and didn't even see a deer. The winds were terrible, hopefully this weekend will be better!

hunted sat to wed saw alot on 2.5 yr olds buck chasing but nothing huge. i agree the wind sucked. going to try to hit it hard all weekend

Success! I did not get the cam turned on but made a great shot. A quarter on shot that left an outstanding blood trail. Not the boggest that I had hoped for but a lot of good memories.
He was east and heading south but a few grunts and a toot on tthe can turned him. He came in on a string.

I fixed the photo to see the buck better. No adjustment to the deer though.
