    Default Trappers

    Just wanted see to see if there are many trappers on here and what everyone is trapping for.

    Its funny you asked this...I have put my traps away for years and was starting to get the itch again.

    What critters do you trap?

    We have a local neighbor who does a lot of the creek trapping here, so I thought I'd work on the dry-land stuff to keep out of his way..

    the last couple of years ive trapped mostly yotes and beaver ,they were the only things worth much,this year i running everything again even muskrats are up to $10 plus my son who is 9 really wants to trap so rats and coons will be easy for him to start with.

    i have a friend that has a family of yotes livin behind their house (2 adults, 2 pups) they want them gone but dont want them killed. is there anyway to trap them and move them? what will i need?

    I would say set some footholds, bring your tranquilizer club,and tell them they are sleeping until they can be released....

    I used to trap coons and rats when I was young, just loved it and wish I had time to do it again. Great outdoor activity to learn and teach..I do miss it alot.

    check with your local wildlife office some of them have big live traps that they will rent out ,put a live chicken in the back of it inside a bait box,ive caught them like this in city limits ,did not release the yotes though put them down on the spot but youcan catch them alive and move them if thats what they want.
