I have a 6 or 7 year old Cuddyback No Flash that has basiclly been in the woods the entire time with out much trouble. The only issue I had was water intrusion. I fixed that by fabricating a metal rain shield that I strap to the tree above the camera. But now it's getting hard to find replacement compact flash cards that work in it. Cuddy has sent the production to Mexico and you are getting what you pay for. I would never buy an other one after reading of all the dissatisfaction on numerous sites including this one.

I have heard some hunters having trouble with customer service from cuddeback as well. My first trail cam was a wild game innovations cheapo ir4 and the battery clips broke after changing the batteries one time. They said that was a known problem but it turned me off to them. After that I got a couple of the DLC covert II really been satisfied with this little camera. Runs off AA batteries and has been in the woods since last december and still has good battery life.
