Archery during gun season in Wisconsin??

found some land to hunt in Wisconsin now my question is can you use archery gear during gun season in Wisonsin? I have never hunted out of Minnesota so I have no idea what the laws are in Wisconsin

Yes.... for the first time this year you can use archery equipment in WI during gun season. I read this in the whats new part of the regulations!!!! Go Get Ol' Wisconsin Freaknasty with a bow bud!

I am thinking about it! I found an awesome peice of land (97 acres) in Wisconsin not far from home in Red Wing, MN. I am just trying to decide if I want to buy an archery tag or a gun tag. I went and checked out the land today and found some AWESOME sign (Huge rubs and lots of scrapes) and I even came face to face with a nice buck probably a 2 1/2 year old 8 pointer(not a shooter if I do this). The neighboring land gets hunted hard and furious so the action could be fast which makes me lean a little towards the gun license but I would really like to shoot a bruiser with my bow. I need to decide fast!!

Whats the prices for you on this side of the river??? Be what it will, like you said those deer might be burning through the woods with everyone and their brother, uncle, dad, and so on in the woods. I would learn towards gun too. Would be awsome with a bow too!!! let us know what u decide!

it is $160 for a license. gun or bow both the same price
