    Default 2011 Muzzleloader Buck

Had a fairly slow season but ended up stalking up on this guy bedded with a couple of does. 25 yard shot and he never knew I was there. I have pics of him since 2008 and glad to have shot him even though I was after something bigger. Swens taped him at 135 or 136. He is still a good trophy for me and another stalk hunt during a slow warm day always makes it that much better. Same logging road as my headmount last year, 40 yards from where the other fell.

Nice buck! And great way to kill him with a stalk like that!

Sounds like a pretty good spot. I'd be happy with that buck. Congrats!
