Wisconsin Gun Season This Weekend!!

Is anyone else as excited as I am about the Wisconsin Gun season this weekend?? It is my first time hunting outside of Minnesota and I am pumped up!! I think I found a great spot it is 96acres of primarily woods maybe 5-10 acres of crp/grass areas. It is surrounded by locked up land that is all in QDM programs and receives little hunting pressure until the gun season. The first time walking in doing a super quick scouting job 2 weekends agon I came face to face with a nice 2 1/2 year old 8 pointer(not a shooter) and then found tons of rubs on big trees and a bunch of big scrapes. I think my chances are going to be very good at getting a mature buck off this property!

o yeah i'm pumped just went out got me a .270 savage always hunted with shotgun till know, went out to just make sure stand is all still good and alot of rubs and scarps up and down the tree line my stand is in and good luck hope you get a big one.

Well I shot my first Wisconsin buck this morning!! He was only a small 7 pointer but it felt great considering I scouted the property for a total of about 2 hours one day 2 weeks before the season opened and it was only my second day hunting it. He was with a doe and 2 fawns when I shot him. Not sure if he had just bread her or if he just jizzed all over himself from excitement but he had cum all over his pecker and around it!! This was also a first for me and kinda gross!! Glad I had rubber gloves for field dressing him. well I am done hunting now for the season unless I go out a try to shoot a doe with my bow in Minnesota.
